Nghe An: 8X teacher manufactures car equipment worth hundreds of millions of dong

(Baonghean.vn) - With only 29 million VND, two young teachers of the Bac Nghe An Economic - Technical Vocational College (located in Quynh Luu district) created a device called "air brake system and rear axle transmission" to apply to teaching auto technology, worth hundreds of millions of VND.

Two teachers Truong Manh Linh and Hoang Nguyen Hong introduced the pneumatic brake system and rear axle transmission.

They are two teachers Truong Manh Linh and Hoang Nguyen Hong, both born in 1989. Graduated from the Faculty of Dynamic Mechanics of Vinh University of Technical Education, in 2013, the two friends from the same school and class worked at the Northern Nghe An Economic and Technical Vocational College. Here, the two teachers were assigned to teach vocational training at the Faculty of Automotive Technology.

Due to the difficulties encountered in the teaching process, such as: students having difficulty absorbing lessons, and the lack of practical communication due to lack of supporting equipment, Mr. Linh and Mr. Hong had the initiative to make their own equipment to serve the teaching work.

The air brake system and rear axle transmission were made for only 29 million VND.

The device won first prize at the 5th national DIY training equipment contest in 2016.

With a cost of 29 million VND to buy scrap car accessories, within 3 months, teachers and students of the Faculty of Automotive Technology contributed to successfully manufacture a pneumatic brake system and axle transmission to apply to vocational training at the school. Thanks to its superior features, this unique initiative was invited to participate in the 5th National DIY Training Equipment Competition, held from October 30 to November 5, 2016 in Can Tho City, organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and won first prize out of 10 first prizes of the competition.

This device serves in the teaching process, helping students grasp the rear axle transmission components in the most accurate way.

It is known that this competition has 359 participating devices from 161 vocational training institutions nationwide.
