The amount sold in retail to people and wholesale to agents is stable, without any unusual fluctuations.”
In the traditional markets, prices of foods such as meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and tubers are basically stable, with abundant supply. Accordingly, the price of pork butt and shoulder ranges from 150,000 - 160,000 VND/kg, pork belly and spare ribs from 190,000 - 200,000 VND/kg; grade 1 beef costs 250,000 VND/kg; whole chicken costs from 120,000 - 150,000 VND/kg, green vegetables cost from 15,000 - 25,000 VND/kg...
“I heard about the new developments of the epidemic on the news, but I did not buy and stockpile food because it would spoil quickly, the quality was not guaranteed, and I was not worried about the price increase. I believe in the government's regulation of the market. People rushing to buy will create chaos. If necessary, only buy enough for 2-3 days, limit travel and gatherings of people" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh, a resident shared.
