Nghe An approves plan to rearrange press agencies
(Baonghean.vn) - Arrange the provincial press agencies in conjunction with innovating the organizational model, improving the effectiveness of press leadership and management; build the provincial press agencies to truly be the core in providing information, playing a role in orienting public opinion and ensuring the province's information tasks.
On the afternoon of March 24, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a regular meeting in March 2020 to listen to and give opinions on a number of important contents, projects, and draft Resolutions.

In Nghe An province, there are currently 7 press agencies: Nghe An Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Nghe An Police Newspaper, Nghe An Labor Newspaper, Culture Magazine, Song Lam Magazine, Science and Technology Magazine.
According to the draft Project of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of rearrangement of Nghe An provincial press agencies by 2025, 3 press agencies are subject to remain unchanged and do not need to be rearranged: Including: Nghe An Newspaper (under the Provincial Party Committee); Nghe An Radio and Television Station (under the Provincial People's Committee); Song Lam Magazine (under the Provincial Literature and Arts Association).

The project will be developed in accordance with the provisions of the 2016 Press Law and Decision 362, along with the reception of personnel from press agencies that must be reorganized when there is a merger decision by a competent authority. At the same time, a roadmap for financial autonomy will be developed according to the direction and guidance of the Central Government and the province.
For the 4 press agencies that must be reorganized: Nghe An Police Newspaper, follow Decision 362. Specifically: "The Ministry of Public Security completes the arrangement of the Police Newspapers of 5 provinces and centrally-run cities into publications of the People's Police Newspaper in 2020". Nghe An Police reports to the Ministry of Public Security to follow the direction of the Ministry of Public Security.
The project proposes the solution: Dissolve Nghe An Science and Technology Magazine under the Department of Science and Technology. Submit to the Ministry of Information and Communications to revoke the press license before June 30, 2020. Convert into a Special Edition under the Department of Science and Technology, with the Center for Science, Technology and Informatics - under the Department continuing to undertake the publishing task;
Dissolve Nghe An Labor Newspaper under Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation. Submit to the Ministry of Information and Communications to revoke the press license and merge into Nghe An Newspaper to continue operating;
Dissolve Nghe An Culture Magazine under the Department of Culture and Sports. Submit to the Ministry of Information and Communications to revoke the press license and merge into Song Lam Magazine to continue operating.
Concluding this content, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized: Arranging the province's press agencies in conjunction with innovating the organizational model, improving the effectiveness of press leadership and management; improving the quality of information, better performing the task of political propaganda, increasingly meeting the information needs of the people.
Agreeing on the arrangement plan according to the proposed project, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung suggested that after the arrangement, the provincial press agencies should be built to be the core in providing information, playing a role in orienting public opinion and ensuring the province's information tasks.
Unify through many projects and contents
At the meeting this afternoon, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung agreed to implement the project of the Martyrs Temple of Nghe An province in Dung Quyet mountain area, Trung Do ward, Vinh city.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to receive comments; review resources, investment scale, complete documents to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the next session... For the Department of Planning and Investment to advise on capital sources and investment procedures to soon implement the project.

Also in this afternoon's meeting, the Provincial People's Committee agreed to issue the Project "Innovation and improvement of the quality of population communication in Nghe An province for the period 2020 - 2025; Draft Resolution submitted to the Provincial People's Council on the mechanism to encourage and support organizations and individuals applying scientific and technological advances in Nghe An province.
The meeting also approved the Draft Decision to promulgate the Regulation on Coordination of State management of multi-level business activities in Nghe An province.

The Provincial People's Committee also agreed to issue a Regulation on coordination in handling a number of procedures for land registration, property attached to land, granting Certificates of land use rights, house ownership rights and other property attached to land for households and individuals in Nghe An province.
