*NOn October 1, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its 20th Conference. According to the assessment, the growth rate in the first 9 months of the year was lower than the same period due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. The growth rate of the province's gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 3.44% over the same period; budget revenue by the end of September reached VND 11,594 billion, reaching 76.2% of the estimate.

Regarding the last 3 months of the year, the Provincial Party Secretary noted that all sectors and levels should carefully review all work contents and set targets and emphasize the problems and difficulties that need to be focused on directing and resolving, in order to propose policies and solutions for each sector, field and locality.

The documents submitted to the Provincial Party Executive Committee have received the opinions of Politburo members and Party Central Committee Secretaries at the working session on September 14, 2020, the conclusion of Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member and Prime Minister in Notice No. 191 - TB/VPTW, dated September 22, 2020 of the Party Central Committee Office and the opinions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee at the meeting on September 28, 2020.

The theme of the 19th Provincial Party Congress was determined as: "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promoting the will and aspiration to rise up; proactively innovating and creating, bringing Nghe An to develop quickly and sustainably".
