Nghe An: Highlights of August 1st
The opening of the 33rd Diplomatic Conference; the renaming of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to the Central Propaganda Department; and the priority access to free textbooks for over 200,000 students in Nghe An province for the new school year... are some of the highlights of the day.
* On the morning of August 1st,33rd Diplomatic ConferenceThe opening ceremony, themed "Promoting the pioneering role and fulfilling the crucial and ongoing tasks of Vietnam's foreign policy in the new era," was held in Hanoi.
* On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary Tran Cam Tu signed and issued the Decision onThe Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department was renamed the Central Propaganda Department.(Decision No. 209-QD/TW, dated July 31, 2026).
* Established by the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party CommitteeSpecialized Research DepartmentAccording to Decision No. 1046-QD/TU issued on July 31, the Provincial Specialized Research Unit is tasked with advising and assisting the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and is directly supervised, managed, and assigned tasks by the Provincial Party Secretary. The Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office is also assigned to be the Head of the Unit.
* The Nghe An Health Department, in collaboration with the Hanoi Hospital Pharmacy Association, organized this event.Hanoi Hospital Expanded Pharmaceutical Science Conference2026. The conference took place over two days, August 1st and 2nd.
Nghe An has just completed the review.the need for textbooksThis involves over 1,000 schools across the province preparing for the 2026-2027 school year. As a result, tens of thousands of students who are in need of priority access to borrow and use textbooks will be prioritized.
