Nghe An: Highlights on July 10

*SOn July 10, the Ministry of Health coordinated with the Ministry of National Defense to organize the launching ceremony.National Covid-19 vaccination campaign2021-2022 online with 63 connection points in localities across the country and 7 connection points in military regions.

The national Covid-19 vaccination campaign will be implemented from July 2021 to April 2022 at all qualified vaccination facilities at all levels. The Ministry of Health aims to have at least 50% of people aged 18 and over vaccinated against Covid-19 in 2021; by the end of the first quarter of 2022, over 75 million people will be vaccinated against Covid-19.

*LIVEIn another development, on the morning of July 10, the checkpoints at the entrances and exits of four villages in Nghi Dien commune (Nghi Loc) were removed one after another after 14 days of establishment. This move took place after the UProvincial People's Committee has decided to stop social isolationaccording to Directive 16 for 4 villages including: Yen Thinh, Phuong Son, Toan Thang and Quang Trung of Nghi Dien commune. The decision takes effect from 0:00 on July 10.

Meanwhile, in Quynh Luu district, village 4, Quynh Lam commune was allowed to stop medical isolation, the remaining villages in this commune were allowed to stop social distancing according to Directive 16 from 0:00 on July 10. As for Quy Hop district, the Provincial People's Committee also decided to stop social distancing according to Directive 15 for Lien Xuan and Thanh Xuan hamlets, Nghia Xuan commune, and Minh Tam hamlet, Minh Hop commune.

It is called upland melon because this is a type of melon that is often grown by Mong people on upland fields intercropped with upland rice from March every year. Harvest begins in June and the season ends in September.

The melons here weigh 4-5 times more than normal melon varieties, with some weighing 1.5-2 kg. When planted, they do not need trellises, but crawl on the ground, on rocky outcrops... Currently, Ky Son has about 30 hectares of this type of melon.
