Nghe An: Highlights of November 11th

* At the Provincial Party Committee Executive meeting, delegates heard the Provincial Party Standing Committee's presentation on the list of personnel nominated by the Politburo forelected to the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 – 2025.

As a result, with an absolute majority of 100% of the delegates present, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - was elected by the Provincial Party Committee to the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Based on the election results, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Department will coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office to finalize the dossier for submission to the Central Committee for approval as per regulations.

*New Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc TrungBorn on March 21, 1974. He was formerly the Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment; before being elected as the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2024 term, he served as the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province for the 2020-2025 term.

* Regarding personnel matters, on the morning of November 11th, the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on personnel matters.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department announced Decision No. 2968-QD/TU dated November 5, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, approving Comrade Hoang Van Bo - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District - to hold the position.Secretary of the Quỳnh Lưu District Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025.
