Nghe An: Highlights of July 11th
The Ministry of Public Security solemnly organized the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the People's Security Force's Traditional Day; activities commemorating the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs; and simultaneous construction of the Vinh - Thanh Thuy expressway project starting in August 2026... These are some of the highlights of the day.
*On the morning of July 11th, the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Department and the Ministry of Public Security solemnly organized the commemoration ceremony.80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Force(July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026) and receiving the Gold Star Order for the fourth time.
Leaders from Nghe An province attending the commemoration ceremony included: Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
*Towards the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, on the morning of July 11th, a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, laid flowers and offered incense.Commemorating the heroic martyrsat the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery and the Memorial Temple for Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front at Hill 468, Tuyen Quang province.
The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee requested that the contractor selection process be completed before July 30th to begin construction.Simultaneously implementing the Vinh - Thanh Thuy Expressway ProjectStarting in August 2026, the target is to complete the project in the fourth quarter of 2028.
