Nghe An: Highlights on July 13

*Cafternoon 13/7,Standing Provincial Party Committee held a meetingThe leaders of departments and branches retired according to the regime. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Comrades Vi Van Suu, Vo Duy Viet and Bui Thi Huy who retired according to the regime. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary also hoped that the comrades would continue to share their experiences and contribute ideas to build the locality where they retired in particular and Nghe An in general to develop more and more.

*SOn July 13, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development in Vietnam, the World Bank in Vietnam, and Indiana University (USA) co-organizedlocal development dialogue2021. *COn the morning of July 13, the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization held an online conference.summary of mass mobilization workThe first 6 months of 2021 to 63 provinces and cities. The conference also approved the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on mass mobilization work.

*SOn July 13, the Government held an online conference with 28 coastal provinces and cities to assess the implementation of the EC's recommendations on IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing). For Nghe An, to overcome the EC's recommendations, the province has implemented drastic and synchronous measures, thereby increasing fishermen's awareness of law compliance as well as management of fishing activities. To date, 94% of Nghe An fishermen have proactivelyInstalling tracking devices for fishing vessels.

*SOn July 13, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a meeting to listen to and give opinions on the draft Decision on Scoring criteria and assessment and classification process of food safety management in Nghe An province. According to the plan, Nghe An is moving towardsScoring and grading food safety management.

*Lrelated to Covid-19 epidemic, morning of July 13, Nghe An1 patient infected with Covid-19 detectedis a person returning from Ho Chi Minh City. Authorities have traced 17 passengers on the same train as the Covid-19 patient who got off at Vinh station.

*TAccording to information from his family, after eating grasshoppers (insects found in many fields), Nguyen Ba K felt itchy in his mouth, and the itching spread all over his body.chest tightness and shortness of breath… Previously, on July 11, Mr. K (born in 2000, residing in Nhan Son Commune, Do Luong) was taken to the Commune Health Station for emergency treatment by his family, then transferred to the District General Hospital in a state of circulatory and cardiac arrest. The hospital promptly performed emergency treatment. That same night, Mr. K was saved.
