Nghe An: Highlights on December 14

*SOn the morning of December 14, in Hanoi, under the chairmanship of General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, the Party Central Committee organized14th Conference, 12th Term.

According to the Program, the 14th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee will discuss: Receiving comments and contributions from Party congresses at all levels, the National Assembly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, cadres, Party members and people on draft documents to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress, reviewing and approving the content of draft documents, and finalizing them for submission to the 13th National Party Congress.

At this Conference, the Central Committee will introduce personnel to join the 13th Politburo and Secretariat; Draft Election Regulations, Working Regulations at the 13th National Party Congress; and a number of other important issues.

*SOn December 14, in Vinh city, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union organizedConference on association workand the 2020 farmers' movement, Emulation Cluster No. 2.

The report at the conference assessed that in 2020, in the context of many difficulties, Farmers' Associations at all levels in provinces and cities in Cluster 2 (11 provinces: Hanoi, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri) focused on directing the implementation of the Association's work and farmers' movements with a focus, close to reality and achieved many positive results.

Discussing at the conference, the Farmers' Associations of the provinces shared new models, good practices, models of organizing branches, professional associations, managing the quality of members, improving the quality of staff in the new situation; affirming the role of farmers in building new rural areas.

*SOn the morning of December 14, in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to study, disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

The 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 took place from October 16 to 18, 2020 in Vinh City with the participation of 448 outstanding delegates, representing over 190,000 Party members, representing the intelligence, solidarity, and fighting spirit of the entire Party Committee, army, and people in the province. After 3 days of serious, democratic work with a high sense of responsibility, the Congress was a great success.

In a frank spirit, the Congress assessed the implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020, thereby clearly defining the goals, directions and tasks of the Provincial Party Committee in the term 2020-2025.

The conference listened to comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to disseminate the topic: Socio-economic development, national defense, security and foreign affairs activities of the province in the period of 2020 - 2025.

It assesses the socio-economic, defense, security and foreign affairs situation of the 2015-2020 term in conjunction with the results achieved, shortcomings, limitations and directions, tasks and solutions for the 2020-2025 term.

The conference also listened to comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, disseminate the topic: Building a clean and strong Party and political system in Nghe An province in the period of 2020 - 2025 with the content of evaluating the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress (2015 - 2020) on building the Party and political system of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; directions, viewpoints, goals and tasks and solutions on building the Party and political system of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in the period of 2020 - 2025.

*SOn December 14, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An organizedjob fairfor soldiers demobilized in 2020; the transaction session attracted 19 businesses providing employment services, labor export, study abroad and vocational training nationwide.

The trading session attracted the participation of more than 1,000 soldiers, veterans, students of military vocational schools and workers in Nghe An province and neighboring areas.

Previously, on December 9, 2020, Ngo Thi Hong Ha, an 8th grade student at Quynh Hong Secondary School, Quynh Luu, picked up a bag of money worth 23 million VND in Hong Nguyen village, Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district. On the same day, she and her family brought the bag of money to the Quynh Hong commune police station to find the owner.

*TIn the joy of welcoming Christmas 2020, the parishioners of Luu My, Tru Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) designed aunique Christmas treemade from thousands of masks and a giant medicine pot.

According to the design, the Christmas tree is over 20 meters high, with a base diameter of 7 meters. The Christmas tree frame is made of steel, standing firmly on 4 double columns. Construction started on November 24, with everyone's active and effective work, by mid-December, the mask Christmas tree was basically completed. People in the parish are excited to have a new, unique project to welcome Christmas 2020.
