Nghe An: Highlights of November 15th

* On the morning of November 15th, the Provincial People's Committee organized...Ceremony to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel matters.Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - attended and presented the Decision.

In Decision No. 2929/QD-UBND dated November 1, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee transferred and appointed Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee - to the position of Director of the Department of Health. The decision takes effect from November 15, 2024.

In Decision No. 2936/QD-UBND dated November 1, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Justice. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

* On the afternoon of November 15th, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - joined the people of Hamlet 4, Nam Nghia Commune, Nam Dan District in celebrating the National Unity Day, commemorating the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day.

Speaking at the celebration with the people of Hamlet 4, Nam Nghia Commune (Nam Dan District), the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Duc Trung, expressed his joy and excitement at being able to join the delegation from the province and Nam Dan District to attend the National Unity Day; he also extended his best wishes for good health to the people of Hamlet 4 and wished the National Unity Day great success.

* From November 11-15,delegation of the Provincial People's CouncilA delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China to meet and work with the Standing Committee of the People's Committee of the Zhuang Autonomous Region, and visited Beijing to meet and work with the Standing Committee of the Chaoyang District People's Congress.

* On the morning of November 15th, at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department,Emulation bloc of Party agencies directly under the Provincial Party CommitteeOrganize a conference to summarize emulation and reward work in 2024 and implement tasks for 2025.

* On the morning of November 15th,The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union organized the Commendation Ceremony.Outstanding young teachers of 2024 and students with 3 good qualities and 3 areas of self-improvement in Nghe An province for the 2023-2024 school year.

At the program, 36 outstanding delegates, representing 243 students who achieved the title of "3 Good Students" and "3 Well-Rounded Students" at the provincial level for the 2023-2024 school year, were honored and rewarded.

The remaining students will be honored and commended at the local level by the district, town, and city youth unions in coordination with the education departments.

*Cars brazenly make U-turns on Ben Thuy Bridge.The incident occurred on the morning of November 15th, on Ben Thuy 1 Bridge.

According to images recorded by people traveling from Vinh City (Nghe An) to Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh), at the time mentioned, a white car with license plate 37A – 458.61 was traveling in the opposite direction (Nghi Xuan – Vinh City). When it reached the bridge, it suddenly turned around, disregarding vehicles moving behind it and in the opposite direction.
