*On the morning of December 17, comrade Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visitedvisit, Merry Christmas2022 at Vinh Diocese Bishop's Palace.

Also attending were leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and a number of central agencies. *Morning of December 17,The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to exchange experiences with the Standing Committee of the District People's Council.belonging to cluster 1 (2nd time) including: Vinh city, Cua Lo town and districts: Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son.

On the basis of innovation and improvement of the Provincial People's Council, at the conference and discussion, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council affirmed that from the activities, experiences and practices of the Provincial People's Council, localities have learned and applied, thereby innovating, being flexible, improving the quality of People's Council activities, the quality of People's Council delegates, increasingly better meeting the functions of deciding important issues in the locality; ensuring the implementation of regulations and decisions of superior state agencies in the locality; supervising the implementation of laws in the locality, supervising the activities of state agencies at the same level and lower levels.

*On the morning of December 17, in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Central Business Bloc Youth Union to organizeactivities in response to "Youth Action Day"Welcome the success of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, term 2022 - 2027".

Immediately after the launching ceremony, 100% of the Youth Union chapters in the province simultaneously launched projects and youth tasks, including: organizing the inauguration of the "Solidarity Bridge" and handing over charity houses; supporting people in the process of issuing identification codes, citizen identification cards and passports, giving social security bags to people in difficult circumstances; visiting and giving gifts to the parish on Christmas; giving out medical examinations and medicine, running to raise funds in response to the program "Millions of green trees - For a green Vietnam"; giving national flags to young people and fishermen going offshore; handing over youth volleyball courts; organizing the "Forum on Aspiration to Contribute - Youth's Way of Life".

*National Defense and Security Education Sports Festival for High School StudentsThe third national sports festival in 2022, hosted by Can Tho city, took place from December 12 to 17. There were 54 delegations participating, including 53 delegations from the Department of Education and Training and 1 high school.

The sports festival attracted 633 high school athletes to participate in 9 competitions including: Some general knowledge about national defense and security; squad team; individual team; disassembling and assembling AK submachine guns; throwing grenades at long distances; shooting AK submachine guns; movement positions on the battlefield; 800m armed run and first aid bandaging and transfer of wounded.

Participating in this year's sports festival, the student delegation of Nghe An province has 12 members and all are students of the provincial Ethnic Minority High School. After 8 competitions, the student delegation of Nghe An ranked second overall.

*After nearly 2 months of active repair, the only road from Muong Xen town to Tay Son commune (Ky Son) was severely damaged by flash floods. Up to now, cars have been temporarily allowed to enter the commune center.

*With the goal of reducing traffic accidents, in recent times, Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) has always maintained regularalcohol and drug testingfor drivers, thereby promptly detecting many violations.

From November 15, 2022 to now, the Team has detected and handled 105 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 6 cases of drugs in the body. Among them, there was a case of causing an accident to escape, the force quickly tracked down and determined that there were drugs and alcohol in the body.
