*This summer, Nghe An will have to reduce 53 - 124MW of its total capacity during peak hours on hot days. The province's electricity consumption on hot days is expected to reach approximately 17,500,000 kWh, while the allocated output can only meet about 90%. Therefore,Nghe An will save electricity useto cope with the peak drought in the dry season of 2023.

On the morning of May 17, the Steering Committee for Power Development of Nghe An province held a conference on a number of solutions to ensure safe and stable power supply for socio-economic development and the work of ensuring safety of power grid corridors in the province.
