*This summer, Nghe An province will have to reduce its total power output by 53-124 MW during peak hours on hot days. The projected electricity consumption for the entire province on hot days is approximately 17,500,000 kWh, while the allocated supply only meets about 90% of the demand. Therefore,Nghe An will save on electricity usage.to cope with the peak drought of the 2023 dry season.

On the morning of May 17th, the Steering Committee for Power Development of Nghe An province held a conference on several solutions to ensure safe and stable electricity supply to serve socio-economic development and to ensure the safety of power grid corridors in the province.
