Nghe An: Highlights of May 18th

*On the morning of May 18th,Commemorating the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.(May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee laid flowers and offered incense at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site in Nam Dan.

Comrade Gerardo Hernandez Nordelo expressed his joy and honor at visiting Nghe An, the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh, on the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023). On the afternoon of May 18, the delegation of the Cuban Committee for the Defense of the Revolution worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

*On the morning of May 18th, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Investment Newspaper, and sponsors held a meeting.awarding 150 scholarshipsA prize of 150 million VND from the "Swing for the Kids – For Vietnamese Children" Golf Tournament Fund will be awarded to 150 underprivileged but academically优秀 students from Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts (Nghe An province).

*Collect biological samples.DNA identification of 96 remains of fallen soldiers.Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos. All biological samples will be handed over by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the National Forensic Institute for genetic testing and inclusion in the gene bank for DNA identification. This will help determine the names, hometowns, and units of the fallen soldiers.
