At the Conference, comrades: Nguyen Sinh Hung - former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Nguyen Manh Cam - former Politburo member, former Deputy Prime Minister; Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Thang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission... and many other comrades contributed many dedicated and valuable opinions to the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Document Subcommittee to develop and complete the Political Report presented at the Congress.
*KOn the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), on the afternoon of July 18, comrade Tran Thanh Man - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site; offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Truong Bon Historical Relic Site, presented 2 great solidarity houses in Do Luong district, and presented 3 gifts to policy families in Anh Son district.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the outstanding son of Nghe An, the great leader of the Vietnamese people. He is the soul of the great national unity bloc.
Next, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate 13 heroic martyrs and youth volunteers at Truong Bon National Monument.
Here, the delegation also offered flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Temple. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, 1,240 officers and soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives at the "fire coordinate" Truong Bon.
On the same day, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man attended the ceremony to present great solidarity houses to two families: Mr. Bui Tien Khoan (born in 1911) in My Son commune and Mr. Le Tien Ho (born in 1936) in Nam Son commune, both in Do Luong district).

The conference took place before the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. This is considered an important forum and political activity to welcome the 19th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress and the 13th National Party Congress.
*TFacing the severe drought situation occurring on a large scale, on July 18, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee went tocheck drought prevention workin Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen districts.
According to a report from Nghi Loc district, as of July 17, this locality had nearly 3,000 hectares of rice suffering from drought, of which nearly 900 hectares were severely drought-stricken, showing signs of dying; it is expected that if there is no rain in the next 10 days, all 5,590 hectares of rice in Nghi Loc will not have irrigation water, of which 3,000 hectares are likely to be completely lost.
In Hung Nguyen, there are currently 1,500 hectares of rice affected by drought, of which 800 hectares are severely drought-affected and 400 hectares are at risk of being burned.

*SThe most interesting event today is the junior high school graduation exam - grade 10 promotion for more than 35,600 students in Nghe An province. This is considered an important exam, no less important than the annual university and college entrance exams, and the exam results are also the basis for students to move up to grade 10 according to their previously registered wishes. In the morning, students take the Literature exam, in the afternoon, they take the English exam. According to many candidates, both the Literature and English exams are within their ability, not challenging students like the previous mock exam.
In the first exam session, the whole province had 35,609/35,701 candidates taking the exam. The total number of absent candidates was 92.First day of exam, there was 1 candidate who violated the exam regulations at Dien Chau High School Examination Council 4. The exam took place safely without any unusual incidents.

*KThe 10th grade entrance exam took place in extremely hot weather, and with the presence and support ofyouth volunteer forcehas contributed to reducing pressure on students, parents as well as authorities involved in ensuring exam security.
At all examination sites in the province, especially in Vinh city, there is the participation and support of youth volunteers. Thereby, candidates are given water, guided through procedures, and ensured traffic safety before, during, and after each examination. Even in Nghia Dan district, youth volunteers also provide free drinking water and milk; introduce cheap, hygienic restaurants, and provide advice and share experiences to help candidates feel more confident during the examination process.
With a special location like Ky Son, at Ky Son High School, the school's union has coordinated with the Youth Union of Muong Xen town and the District Police to mobilize funds to cook nearly 500 free meals and distribute 500 bottles of water to candidates. It is known that the school's exam site has more than 500 candidates and most of them are in difficult circumstances and live far away. Therefore, in addition to preparing meals, the school also mobilized households to provide nearly 60 free and cheap rooms for candidates and their parents to feel secure when taking the exam...
