Nghe An: Highlights September 18
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 18, Nghe An recorded no new positive cases of SARS-CoV-2. This is good news, however, the authorities do not allow the epidemic prevention and control work to "cool down".
* DaySeptember 18, information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Nghe An: In the past 24 hours (from 6:00 p.m. September 17 to 6:00 p.m. September 18), Nghe Anno new positive cases recordedwith Covid-19. Thus, for the first time after 54 consecutive days of infections, Nghe An province had a full day without recording any new Covid-19 infections.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, the province has recorded 1,808 Covid-19 patients in 21 localities.

*MAlthough the number of new Covid-19 infections in recent days has decreased significantly compared to before, however, according to the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, we must not be subjective, negligent, or lose control. In this spirit, the Department of Health requests Vinh City to be even more rapid ininvestigation and tracingF0, F1 cases.
The Department of Health requested Vinh City to organize testing of all residents in the area with a frequency of 3-5 days/time during the lockdown period to immediately separate F0 cases from the community; organize immediate environmental treatment for high-risk areas where F0 appears. Especially closed areas, crowded areas, without ventilation such as elevators, apartment corridors, etc.

*TBased on the practical situation of the locality and implementing the province's direction on Covid-19 prevention and control, Vinh City People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 6111/UBND-KT onfreight forwarder management(shipper).
Accordingly, on September 12, 2021, the Vinh City People's Committee issued a Plan for managing markets, supermarkets, shopping malls, and goods trading establishments, including a plan for managing delivery and receipt of goods (shippers). Only delivery and receipt of goods from businesses licensed to operate in the transportation of goods are allowed to operate; freelance shippers continue to suspend operations.

In response to this question, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, Deputy Commander of the Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province said that he had just signed a document to send to relevant departments, branches and localities on organizing epidemic prevention and control at inter-provincial checkpoints.
The Nghe An Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center recommends that for citizens returning from localities under lockdown, Directive No. 16 and Directive No. 15 of the Prime Minister will continue to be implemented according to Official Dispatch No. 5416 dated July 31 of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee.
