Nghe An: Highlights of October 19th
Continuing the agenda of the 2nd Session of the 16th National Assembly, the delegations of National Assembly deputies from Nghe An and Dong Thap provinces held group discussions; the Nghe An Provincial Military Service Council implemented tasks for the 2027 military recruitment; and a delegation from Nghe An province visited and worked at the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia... These are some of the highlights of the day.
*Continuing the agenda of the 2nd Session of the 16th National Assembly,The delegations of National Assembly deputies from Nghe An and Dong Thap provinces held group discussions on the draft Law on Auctioning Assets (amended), the Law on Lawyers (amended), and the Law on Adoption (amended), the draft Penal Code (amended), and the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the implementation of the Penal Code (amended); and the draft Law on the Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies (amended).
*Nghe An has 4 works.Among the four categories – radio, online newspapers, magazines, and video clips – the works were honored with awards at the Sixth Political Commentary Competition on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation, 2026.
*On the morning of October 19th, corresponding to the 10th day of the 9th lunar month of the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ),Comrade Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate the 13 heroic martyrs.Young volunteers participate in the 58th anniversary commemoration ceremony at the Truông Bồn National Historical Site, Bạch Hà commune.
*Comrade Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, and Head of the Organizing Committee for the Nghe An Provincial Defense Zone Exercise.Inspect the preparations for the live-fire exercise to establish an air defense dome to protect key targets in the province.
*The Nghe An Provincial Military Service Council held a conference to implement the tasks for military recruitment in 2027.The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province requested that 100% of the 2027 military recruitment target be met, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
*During my business trip to the Russian Federation,A delegation from Nghe An province visited and worked at the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia. The delegation was led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
*The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council held a thematic explanatory session on the restructuring and improvement of grassroots healthcare capacity.The focus is on clarifying difficulties and obstacles, proposing solutions to overcome them, and gradually improving the quality of operation of the primary healthcare system to meet the healthcare needs of the people.
* The State Bank of Vietnam, Regional Branch 8, and the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union organized the ceremony.Signing of the Cooperation Program for the period 2026 - 2030.
* At Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with relevant units to organize the event.Disseminating and publicizing laws on traffic order and safety.and provide safe driving instruction for students.
*A series of cars had their windows smashed.When left overnight on the sidewalk in front of T&T Victoria apartment building, Thanh Vinh ward, Nghe An province.
