Nghe An: Highlights on April 2

*The Ministry of Home Affairs has just held a briefing conference.Results of the first quarter's work performance and deployment of work tasks for April 2023.

According to the plan, in the coming time, the Ministry of Home Affairs will submit for promulgation 10 Resolutions on the establishment, merger, and adjustment of administrative boundaries; submit for promulgation Resolutions and Decrees on organization and personnel work; and advise on the organization and implementation of reforms in new salary and allowance policies.

*Proposing to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee a draft law ontransgender rights and recognition of new gender- This is one of the key contents discussed at the 13th session of the National Assembly Law Committee.

Thus, about half a million people have not had their personal rights fully protected, and have even been violated. The percentage of transgender people who have ever been married is very small, only 1.4%, and the majority are single and have never been married. Of which, more than 81% of transgender people participating in the survey have never publicly disclosed their gender to the community.

*Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 210, dated March 28, 2023 onimplementing the National Target ProgramSocio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2025.

Accordingly, Nghe An strives to double the average income of ethnic minorities by 2025 compared to 2020. The poverty rate among ethnic minorities will decrease by over 3%; strives for 50% of communes and villages to leave extremely difficult areas.
