Nghe An: Highlights of April 21st
The first session of the 16th National Assembly continued its eighth day of work, considering and deciding on many important issues; the commemoration of the 120th anniversary of the birth of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (April 24, 1906 - April 24, 2026); the announcement of typical housing models to implement support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; and the control of a fire that had lasted for a week in Thai Hoa ward... These were some of the highlights of the day.
* At the invitation of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, To Lam and his wife,President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea and his wife pay a state visit to Vietnam.From April 21st to 24th, 2026.
* The first session of the 16th National Assembly continued its eighth day of work, considering and deciding on many important issues.In the morning, the National Assembly held discussions.Regarding the supplementary assessment of the implementation results of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget for 2025 and the first months of 2026; the work of practicing thrift and combating waste in 2025; and the situation of achieving the national goal on gender equality in 2025.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed the Medium-Term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030; and the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Personal Income Tax, the Law on Value Added Tax, the Law on Corporate Income Tax, and the Law on Special Consumption Tax.
* The Party Committee, government, and people of Ha Tinh solemnly organizedCommemoration of the 120th anniversary of the birth of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap(April 24, 1906 - April 24, 2026) - a staunch communist fighter, key leader, and outstanding theorist of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution.
* On the afternoon of April 21st, Comrade Tran Quoc Vuong - former member of the Politburo and former Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam - laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site.

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Document No. 4077/UBND-NC regardingAnnouncing the designs of typical house models.To implement support for the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses for the children of resistance fighters who were exposed to chemical toxins.
* Nghe An Provincial Federation of LaborOrganize a review conference.Implementing Resolution 01/DCT on Collective Labor Agreements in 2025, deploying tasks for 2026, and training negotiation skills for grassroots trade union officials.
