Minister Dao Hong Lan and the delegation visited and worked at Nam Thai Commune Health Station, Nam Dan District; worked with Nam Dan District Health Center.

At the meeting with leaders of Nam Dan district and the district health center, Minister Dao Hong Lan listened to recommendations on policy documents; preventive medicine, medical examination and treatment based on the practical operations of a district-level health facility; especially difficulties in recruiting human resources to work in the district and commune.

The delegation of the Ministry of Health visited and worked at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital.

Through a field survey and listening to the report, the head of the Ministry of Health acknowledged the role of Nghe An General Hospital in medical examination and treatment not only for the province but also for the region and Laos. Comrade Dao Hong Lan also discussed some specific contents, and assigned units under the Ministry to research and answer in the coming time.

As of March 20, the province's centralized public investment capital had disbursed more than VND282 billion, reaching 5.06%. The industrial production index in the first three months of the year is estimated to increase by 5.81% over the same period.

Revenue from accommodation and catering services in the first quarter is estimated at VND 2,657 billion, up 28.57% over the same period in 2022. Total export turnover of goods in the first 3 months is estimated at 520 million USD, import turnover is estimated at more than 274 million USD. The number of tourists is estimated at 1.9 million, equal to 181% over the same period; revenue is estimated at VND 1,460 billion, equal to 306.7% over the same period in 2022...

Accordingly, the plan to expand the administrative boundaries and urban space of Vinh city was agreed upon by the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the entire natural area and existing population size of Cua Lo town to Vinh city for management.

At the same time, adjust the entire natural area and existing population size of 4 communes: Nghi Xuan, Phuc Tho, Nghi Thai, Nghi Phong (Nghi Loc) to Vinh city for management. Establish 4 wards on the basis of the original natural area and existing population size of 4 communes: Hung Dong, Hung Loc, Nghi Phu, Nghi Duc.

As a result of the expansion, Vinh city has a natural area of ​​166.24 km2 (reaching 110.67%); a population of 575,718 people (reaching 383.81%); 36 commune-level administrative units (reaching 360%) including 27 wards and 9 communes. Nghi Loc district has a natural area of ​​313.18 km2 (reaching nearly 70%); a population of 206,042 people (reaching 171.70%); 25 commune-level administrative units (reaching 192.31%) including 24 communes and 1 town.

*People in the flash flood area of ​​Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, Muong Xen town of Ky Son district areLooking forward to building a new resettlement area soonto be moved to live safely.

Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune has 244 households, of which 64 households had their houses damaged by flash floods and had to temporarily set up tents to live in recently, some households live with relatives.

To ensure the safety of people in flash flood areas, on December 9, 2022, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 9765/UBND-NN on "Construction of infrastructure for emergency resettlement areas for people in Muong Xen town and Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district". Currently, the functional unit has surveyed 3 locations in Muong Xen town and Ta Ca commune.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh - Chairman of Ky Son District People's Committee said: Currently, with socialized support sources, the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has transferred 25 billion VND to Ky Son District to build a resettlement area for people in the flash flood area. The district is waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to approve the use of this source to build this resettlement area.

*On the afternoon of March 23, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station (Dien Chau)8 fishing boats administratively sanctionednearshore fishing violations.

Through patrolling and controlling, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station discovered 8 fishing boats owned by Nguyen Van Quang, Nguyen Van Dung, Tran Van Tien, Cao Van Thuong, Nguyen Van Tien, Vu Van Son, Nguyen Van Hung and Nguyen Van Dung, all from Dien Ngoc Commune, Dien Chau, fishing in coastal areas. According to regulations, these fishing boats are only allowed to fish in offshore areas.

The ship owners and workers on board all admitted to illegal fishing, complied with administrative sanctions, and pledged not to organize illegal fishing.
