Nghe An: Highlights on May 23

*DThe 15th National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province attending the 3rd session included 13 delegates, of which 6 delegates worked at central agencies and 7 delegates resided and worked in Nghe An.

Attending the meeting,Nghe An National Assembly Delegationwill work with National Assembly deputies to review and approve 5 draft laws and 3 draft resolutions; review and comment on 6 draft laws; review and decide on investment policies for 5 projects, along with many other important contents.

*COn the afternoon of May 23, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a conferencesummary of economic census workand administrative base survey 2021.

According to the results of the 2021 economic census, there are 10,829 enterprises and cooperatives in operation in Nghe An, an increase of 37.65% compared to the 2017 economic census and an increase of 91.8% compared to 2012. Thus, the average annual growth rate of enterprises in the period 2017-2021 is 6.6% (592 enterprises increase each year). The number of employees in enterprises is 197,698, an increase of 2.98%; the average income is nearly 6.5 million VND/person/month (an increase of 941.3 thousand VND/month compared to 2017).
