Nghe An: Highlights of November 24th

*NOn November 24th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held its regular monthly meeting for November 2020.Assessing the socio-economic situation in the province in 2020.

The Provincial People's Committee also listened to and unanimously approved the Report on the implementation of the conclusions of the Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee at the October meeting; the Report on the implementation of tasks by the working group according to Decision 2416 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Report on the review of the Provincial People's Committee's leadership and management work in 2020 and tasks for 2021; the Draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan for the period 2021-2025; the Report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in 2020, the plan for 2021 and the Draft Resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2021; the Report on the implementation of the public investment plan in 2020, tasks for 2021 and the Draft Resolution on the public investment plan for 2021 and many other draft resolutions submitted to the Provincial People's Council.

*NOn November 24th, National Assembly delegates Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of Military Region IV; and Nguyen Van Chi - Member of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee, met with voters in the town.Cua Loand districtDien Chau.

On the same day, National Assembly deputies Nguyen Huu Cau - former Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police; and Le Quang Huy - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, held a meeting with constituents.Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district.

During these meetings, many voters raised and submitted proposals regarding existing issues related to people's lives to various levels and sectors. Representatives of local governments explained some issues within their jurisdiction. Other opinions were compiled by the National Assembly delegation, which promised to submit them to the relevant levels, sectors, and the National Assembly for consideration and resolution.

*SOn November 24th, the Department of Education and Training organized a conference on the results of the implementation of the project, phase 1.Enhance Vietnamese language skills"For preschool children and primary school students in ethnic minority areas during the period 2017-2020, with a vision to 2025" in Nghe An province.

The Project to Enhance Vietnamese Language Skills for Ethnic Minority Preschool and Primary School Children (2016-2020) aims to help these children acquire basic Vietnamese language skills to complete the preschool and primary education programs; create a foundation for them to learn and acquire knowledge in subsequent educational levels, contributing to improving the quality of education and contributing to the development of the country.

* SOn November 24th, the Thai Hoa Town Party Committee (Nghe An province) inaugurated...Examination for assessing and evaluating the qualifications of officials and civil servants.Party and State agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations participated in the examination. 89 officials took part in the examination.

*TFrom November 23rd to 24th (corresponding to the 9th and 10th days of the 10th lunar month of the Year of the Rat), the Ong Hoang Muoi Temple Festival took place in Hung Thinh commune (Hung Nguyen district), attracting tens of thousands of locals and tourists from all over.

Ong Hoang Muoi Temple FestivalHeld annually on the 9th and 10th of the 10th lunar month, the festival aims to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, commemorate the merits of benevolent deities, and educate the public about patriotism and the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," as well as promote the image of the festival and the value of the historical site.

The victim in the case, Ms. Luong Thi Hong N. (daughter of Ms. Oanh - born in 1995, residing in Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district), was absent from the court.
