Nghe An: Highlights of December 25th

*On the morning of December 25th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a nationwide online conference.Summary of one year of implementation of Project 06and a summary of the activities of the National Committee on Digital Transformation in 2022.

According to reports from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications, after one year of implementing Project 06, 21 out of 25 essential public services related to citizens have been completed and put into electronic form; initial data connectivity has been implemented to contribute to cleaning up bank credit information; a digital platform for providing citizen credit scoring services has been established; 8 population data products have been provided to agencies, organizations, and individuals to serve socio-economic development; health insurance card information has been integrated to serve medical examinations and treatment at 94% of medical facilities; and ATM card information has been integrated to facilitate cash withdrawals...

The electronic identification and authentication system has approved over 17 million electronic identification accounts for citizens, of which over 2.6 million have been activated; and issued 76.5 million citizen identity cards.

Of the 107 tasks outlined in the National Committee on Digital Transformation's Action Plan, 42 tasks assigned to ministries and agencies have been completed; 2 tasks are currently underway; and 59 out of 63 localities have completed their tasks.

Speaking at the conference, in addition to acknowledging the achievements, the Prime Minister also pointed out eight shortcomings and limitations in digital transformation and the implementation of Project 06. Emphasizing that 2023 presented more difficulties and challenges than opportunities and advantages, the Prime Minister stated that digital transformation aims to alleviate difficulties to promote socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security.

*According to a report from the Nghe An Employment Service Center, from January 1, 2022 to December 23, 2022, the Center received applications.unemployment insurance registration fileOf the 20,310 cases, an increase of 28.52% compared to 2021, approximately 9,000 were workers employed in businesses within the province.

According to officials from the Unemployment Insurance Department of the Center, the number of people submitting unemployment insurance claims at the unit will continue to rise until the Lunar New Year, and is expected to increase to thousands.

According to survey data from the Provincial Labor Federation at the end of November 2022, 25 businesses in the province, mainly in the garment and footwear industries, were affected. Orders for these businesses at the end of the year were reduced by major markets such as the US, Europe, and Japan. The number of workers whose working hours were reduced was 19,942, the number of workers whose contracts were terminated was 1,797, and the number of workers whose contracts were temporarily suspended was 452.

More than 1,000 union members, workers, and laborers from districts, cities, towns, and various sectors participated in the festival.

*Teacher from Nghe An wins first prize.The Digital Teaching Equipment Design Competition.

After nearly half a year of implementation, the Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the list of winning entries in the final round of the Digital Teaching Equipment Development Competition. Among the 5 first-prize winners, one is from Nghe An province: the "Digital Teaching Equipment Set Describing 3D Conic Sections in Mathematics for Grade 10". The remaining first-prize winners are from the subjects of Vietnamese Language, Science, Technology, and Natural Sciences.

The product, a digital teaching aid kit featuring 3D images of conic sections in Math 10, was designed by teachers Chu Viet Tan and Nguyen Dinh Khanh from Hoang Mai High School, and teacher Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa from Le Viet Thuat High School.

*Through inspections in various localities, the Nghe An Provincial Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection has discovered andAuthorities took action against 8 establishments trading in plant protection products.There was a violation of regulations.

According to data from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection: In 2022, the Department conducted two planned inspections and one unscheduled inspection of pesticides in the province. Through these inspections, 51 pesticide trading establishments were inspected, and 22 pesticide samples were taken for quality testing as per regulations.
