Nghe An: Highlights on January 26

*SJanuary 26, 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnamofficially openedat the National Convention Center, with the participation of 1,587 delegates, representing more than 5.1 million party members.

With the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong spoke, suggesting that the Congress needs to discuss thoroughly to achieve high consensus and vote to pass the Congress documents, ensuring the success of the Congress, creating a basis for thoroughly grasping and implementing the Congress Resolution, successfully completing the set goals and tasks.

*Tin the economic field,Carrots in Nghe AnGood harvest, good price. According to farmers' calculations, 1 hectare of carrots can bring in over 400 million VND. With a yield of 2 - 2.5 tons/sao, it is calculated that 1 hectare of carrots can yield 40 to 50 tons of tubers. With the current selling price of 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg, farmers earn from 400 to 450 million VND/ha. Currently, carrots are the highest value crop in the coastal sandy land of Nghe An.
