*Prime Minister Pham Minh ChinhThe Prime Minister signed Official Dispatch No. 99/CD-TTg dated June 27, 2025, on ensuring the smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the two-tiered local government organizational model for the rearrangement of administrative units and the operation of the two-tiered local government organizational model. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministers of Ministries and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the two-tiered local government organizational model from July 1, 2025.

* On June 27th, the People's Committee of Nghe An provinceIssue a decision on transfer.All kindergartens, primary schools, and junior high schools in the area will be transferred to the management of the (new) commune/ward People's Committee in accordance with the law, from the time the two-tiered local government system comes into operation.
The Provincial People's Committee requires that there be no loss of records, documents, or assets; that the organization be quickly stabilized, and that the responsibilities of each department and individual be clearly defined to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* As of June 26, 2025, Nghe An province has 8 out of 20 district-level units that have completed 100% of the target.housing program for the peopleThis includes: Hoang Mai town, Thai Hoa town and the districts of Quy Hop, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Anh Son, Nghia Dan, and Quy Chau. The average housing completion rate for the entire province reached 97.39%, and only 153 houses remain unbuilt.
Nghe An is entering a period of intense heat, however, the entire province has only just begun to experience it.vegetation managementOnly 2,642 out of 15,867 hectares of pine forest remain, posing a high risk of forest fires.
