Nghe An: Highlights of May 29th

These are some of the highlights of the day.
* May 29th,The National Assembly held a plenary session in the assembly hall.Discussions were held on draft amendments to the Law; draft resolutions of the National Assembly; a vote was taken to approve a resolution of the National Assembly on piloting certain specific mechanisms and policies for the development of social housing; and discussions were held on the draft Law amending and supplementing certain articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.
* On the morning of May 29th,The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference.The conference summarized 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016, of the XII Politburo and commended exemplary individuals and groups for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style during the 2021-2025 period. The conference honored 7 outstanding collectives and 48 outstanding individuals in implementing Directive 05.
* On May 29th, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Hong Vinh, along with delegates from the Provincial People's Council and delegates from the Anh Son District People's Council,Meeting with voters in Hung Son and Cao Son communes., Anh Son district before the mid-year session of the 18th Provincial People's Council in 2025.
*Steering Committee for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Nghe An ProvinceThe directive requires all levels, sectors, and localities to promote the spirit of "6 clear points," strengthen the responsibility of leaders, and accelerate the implementation to achieve the goals before July 31, 2025.
* Regarding the proposalland use rights in the Wasteland areaIn Nghi Thiet commune, regarding the cases of several households, the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district has established a working group to conduct inspections and verifications.
*Heavy rains cause landslides in Que Phong.The incident occurred on the evening of May 28th in Long Thang village, Hanh Dich commune (Que Phong district) when a sudden heavy rain poured down. A large volume of water flooded in during the night, catching residents off guard. Due to the remote location and mountainous terrain, the extent of the damage has not yet been assessed.
