(Baonghean.vn) - The content that attracted the attention of domestic and international scholars and researchers on December 3 was the series of UNESCO events honoring Poet Ho Xuan Huong - World Cultural Celebrity.
*Afternoon of December 3,Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, President and the delegation visited Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan offers flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh; commemorate heroes and martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site.
In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, leaders of the Party, State, Nghe An province and delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of our Party and People, national liberation hero, and outstanding cultural figure.
On the same afternoon, comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member and President visited Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site to offer flowers and incense to express his respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the outstanding children who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered flowers and incense at the Ho Phi family temple, commemorating and paying tribute to the ancestors of the Ho family and poetess Ho Xuan Huong, and offering incense at the memorial stele of poetess Ho Xuan Huong.
Poet Ho Xuan Huong (1772 - 1822), was the daughter of Mr. Ho Phi Dien, a descendant of the Ho Phi family, Quynh Doi commune, Quynh Luu district - a family with a tradition of mandarin exams, many of whom achieved high scores, and were contemporary intellectuals.
Ho Xuan Huong was an outstanding female poet of Vietnam in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, honored as the "Queen of Nom poetry" with many works reaching the pinnacle of Nom poetry, a rare phenomenon in world literature.
At the 41st General Assembly in November 2021, UNESCO passed a Resolution to honor and join in the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth (1772 - 2022) and 200th anniversary of the death (1822 - 2022) of Poet Ho Xuan Huong.

*As part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Poet Ho Xuan Huong, on the morning of December 3, Nghe An province coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO to solemnly organizeInternational scientific conference: Poet Ho Xuan Huong (1772-1822) - Cultural celebrity and heritage value.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that, with the spirit of not only honoring, showing gratitude, and learning, but more importantly, absorbing and promoting the heritage value of Ho Xuan Huong in today's era, the purpose of the Scientific Workshop is to announce and widely publicize UNESCO's honor and participation in the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth (1772-2022), 200th anniversary of the death (1822-2022) of the cultural celebrity Ho Xuan Huong; at the same time, creating a new spiritual atmosphere in learning, researching, receiving and promoting the cultural heritage value of the female poet - celebrity Ho Xuan Huong.
At the same time, the workshop reviewed and re-evaluated the history of reception of Ho Xuan Huong and the value of her heritage both domestically and internationally; announced a number of new collections, studies and researches on the person, life, career and works of the famous Ho Xuan Huong; announced new studies and proposals on the contributions, stature and position of Ho Xuan Huong and ideas and projects on promoting the heritage value of the famous person in the new context.
At the conference, domestic and international scientists focused on discussing, clarifying the position, stature and history of reception, translation (translation) of Ho Xuan Huong; the issue of Ho Xuan Huong's background, hometown and era; Ho Xuan Huong in the relationships with national culture, regional culture and human culture; issues of poetics, artistic style and the appeal and spread of Ho Xuan Huong's poetry...

*Poet Ho Xuan Huongis a rare phenomenon in Vietnamese and world literature. She embodies the spirit of struggle, aspiration, and demand for women's right to live and the right to pursue happiness. The ideological value in her works still has a strong vitality in today's life. At the conference, many domestic and international researchers commented and evaluated Poet Ho Xuan Huong. All came to one conclusion: Ho Xuan Huong's poetic soul transcends the scope of the times.
