Nghe An: Highlights on July 3

*NOn July 3, towards the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the delegation of the National Assembly of the province led by comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee went to Quang Tri province to offer flowers and incense.Memorial to the Heroes and Martyrs.

The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery - the resting place of 10,263 martyrs, including 1,297 martyrs from Nghe An and Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery - the resting place of 10,754 martyrs, including nearly 200 martyrs from Nghe An.

Before entering Quang Tri, the provincial delegation visited and offered incense at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.

*COn the afternoon of July 3, a working delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development had a working session with the People's Committee of Nghe An province on coordination work inImplement the Event Series“Vietnam Forestry - 75 years of formation and development”; signing of the Coordination Plan between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People's Committee of Nghe An province. At the meeting, the leaders of Nghe An province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development agreed on the program of the Event Series “Vietnam Forestry - 75 years of formation and development".

The series of events will take place in November 2020, with 5 contents: Vietnam Forestry Anniversary - 75 years of formation and development in Vinh City; Ceremony to report achievements and offer incense to Uncle Ho at Kim Lien Special National Relic Site; Ceremony to attach the signboard of the project "High-tech Forestry Zone in the North Central region"; Conference to discuss solutions to promote the development of production, processing and export of forest products, period 2021-2025 and promote investment in the High-tech Forestry Zone; Exhibition to connect achievements of the forestry industry.

*TAccording to data from Nghe An Statistics Office,consumer price index(CPI) in June 2020 increased by 0.73% compared to the previous month, decreased by 0.69% compared to December last year and increased by 2.77% compared to the same period last year. Of the 11 groups of goods and services, 5 groups had price indexes increasing compared to the previous month: food and catering services increased by 0.60%; beverages and tobacco increased by 0.37%; transportation increased by 4.86%; culture, entertainment, tourism increased by 0.33%; other goods and services increased by 0.14%.

*CNon-public schools in Nghe An ""thirst" candidate. Enrollment is one of the vital factors of schools, especially in non-public schools or vocational training centers, continuing education centers. However, at present, recruiting enough students is extremely difficult for non-public schools in Nghe An.

*NNghe An first applied the systemforest fire surveillance camera. The installation and use of the forest fire monitoring camera system in Nghi Loc district (Nghe An) has been effective, helping forest owners and forest management units to grasp and monitor information about forests anytime, anywhere, and promptly detect fires for handling.
