* On October 7th, working groups chaired by the Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee conducted on-site inspections of sand and mineral mining operations in various localities throughout the province.
- Through on-site inspections at the wharves of 9 sand mining sites along the Lam River,Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong HaiThe authorities determined that the surveillance camera system was not meeting monitoring requirements and requested a temporary suspension of operation to complete installation and data connection as per regulations.
- Task Force No. 2 led byComrade Bui Thanh An- The Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired an inter-agency team to conduct a surprise on-site inspection of the operations of 6 mineral mines in the communes of Phuc Loc and Van Kieu, and the wards of Hoang Mai and Quynh Mai.
