Nghe An: Highlights on December 7

*SOn December 7, in Vinh City, the 18th term People's Council of Nghe An province, term 2021 - 2026solemn opening of the 4th session. The meeting took place in 2.5 days. Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Before entering the session, the Provincial People's Council delegation came to offer flowers at Uncle Ho's statue at Ho Chi Minh Square.

At this session, the People's Council of Nghe An province reviewed, commented on and decided on many important contents; including discussing and reviewing 30 reports of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Committee and a number of sectors on the results of work in 2021; tasks in 2022; at the same time reviewing and approving 37 resolutions in the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security; especially the Resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2022, thereby setting out the main goals and targets in the second year of the term in accordance with the context of "safe and flexible adaptation, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic".

*Twithin the framework of the 4th session, the Provincial People's Council, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee bsocio-economic situation report2021, orientation for development solutions in 2022. In which, the Provincial People's Committee pointed out 6 outstanding results and 4 shortcomings in Nghe An's socio-economic development in 2021.
