Nghe An: Highlights on December 9
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, the 11th session of the 18th term People's Council of Nghe An province, term 2021-2026, held its closing session. At this session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and approved 34 reports and 19 resolutions. Many resolutions are expected to create momentum for the province's socio-economic development in 2023.

In the agenda, the 11th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council reviewed and evaluated 34 reports on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, public investment, and implementation of the National Target Programs; the 2022 work results of the Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency; the results of the Provincial People's Council's thematic supervision of the State management of minerals in Nghe An province; the results of the Provincial People's Council's thematic supervision of the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's Resolutions on land recovery and conversion of land use purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Land Law to implement works and projects in Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2021 and other reports in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Provincial People's Council also unanimously passed 19 resolutions, creating an important legal basis to promote socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security of the province in 2023 and the following years.

*Previously,The Provincial People's Council meeting program passed the ResolutionRegulations on the percentage of land use fee revenue from projects that collect land use fees for the provincial budget to create capital for compensation, support site clearance for Vinh International Airport project and invest in building an access bridge connecting National Highway 7C with Cua Lo Deepwater Port.
The Provincial People's Council resolved to allocate 100% of the provincial budget revenue from land use fees for 4 urban projects in Vinh city to create capital to support compensation and site clearance for the Vinh International Airport project and invest in building a bridge connecting National Highway 7C with Cua Lo Deepwater Port.

*Regarding the public investment plan for the coming time, in this session, the Provincial People's Council reviewed andapprove the draft Resolution on the Public Investment Plan2023 with a total state budget of more than 9,033 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is more than 3,960 billion VND, and the local budget is more than 5,072 billion VND.

*During December 8-9, the inter-sectoral working group of the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control, led by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong - Deputy Minister of Health, had a working program in Nghe An province onAIDS prevention workand drug and prostitution.
