(Baonghean.vn) -In hoh19:30 March 28, 2017, via cMr. InspectorThe interdisciplinary team of food hygiene and safety of Tuong Duong district has5 tons of chemically treated yams were discovered at a local purchasing facility.

That is the secondary forest product purchasing facility of Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, in Nhung village, Tam Quang commune. Through inspection, the team discovered that this facility was storing over 5 tons of yams that had been pre-processed and preserved with sulfur of unknown origin.

Through investigation, the owner of this facility said that the above quantity of yams after being processed with preservatives will be transported to China for consumption.
