Nghe An: Implementing high-level propaganda about the 13th National Party Congress
(Baonghean.vn) - The 13th National Congress of the Party will be held from January 25, 2021 to February 2, 2021 in Hanoi. In order to well organize the welcoming activities before, during and after the Congress, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has issued a document directing units and localities to focus on propaganda about this special political event.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has just issued Official Dispatch No. 134-CV/BTGTU, dated January 4, 2021. Accordingly, it requires units and localities to continue to promote propaganda work before, during and after the 13th National Congress of the Party; closely follow Plan No. 223-KH dated December 24, 2019 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Instruction No. 72-HD/BTGTU, dated March 12, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to direct and organize visual propaganda, hanging Party flags, national flags, banners, slogans, banners... in their localities and units from January 20, 2021 to February 5, 2021.

Units and localities are also required to organize cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities to welcome the 13th National Congress of the Party in conjunction with celebrating the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2021) and preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2021.
Organizing propaganda activities should focus on informing about the country's achievements over 35 years of renovation, especially outstanding results in economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security, and the results of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress on the grassroots radio system in communes, wards, and towns.

Provincial departments, agencies, branches, unions, localities, agencies, and units shall post and share news and articles promoting the 13th National Congress of the Party on the websites and social networks of their management units; mobilize cadres and party members to actively promote, post, and share information about the Congress on personal websites (Facebook, Zalo, YouTube, Lotus, Mocha, VCNET, etc.). Focus on propagating, fighting, and refuting false and hostile viewpoints and information that take advantage of the Congress organization process to distort and sabotage the Congress's guidelines, policies, and personnel work.
In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that the province's press agencies open special pages, columns, and topics on the 13th National Congress of the Party; prioritize the capacity and duration of news, articles, interviews, and in-depth reports on the Congress's innovative spirit, major policies and orientations stated in the draft documents of the 13th National Congress of the Party; and promptly report on activities before, during, and after the Congress.
