Nghe An receives 1.5 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 10

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of September 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee presented 1.5 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 10 to the Nghe An Province Fatherland Front Committee.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, along with representatives of the Fatherland Front Committees of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces and a number of relevant departments and branches.

Comrade Le Thi Bich Chau - Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee sent words of encouragement and sympathy for the damage and loss caused by the storm and flood to the people of Nghe An. At the same time, she said that the donation was the sincere sentiment of the people of Ho Chi Minh City to the people of the Central region in general and the people of Uncle Ho's hometown in particular.

On behalf of the leaders and people of Nghe An, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission expressed his gratitude for the timely encouragement and support of the people, cadres and soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City; contributing to sharing the difficulties of Nghe An people who suffered losses due to the recent storm No. 10.

It is known that during this period, Ho Chi Minh City supported 6 provinces affected by storm No. 10, with an amount of 7 billion VND including: Thanh Hoa (500 million VND), Nghe An (1.5 billion VND), Ha Tinh (1.5 billion VND), Quang Binh (1.5 billion VND), Quang Tri (1.5 billion VND) and Thua Thien - Hue province (500 million VND).
