(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that it will continue to propose that the Central Government allocate the expected number of vaccines.

On the morning of December 7, at the 4th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a summary report on the results of handling voters' petitions at the 2nd session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

RECEIVE, RESOLVE AND FULL RESPONSE TO 100% OF SUGGESTIONS

According to the representative of the provincial People's Committee, the 2nd session of the 18th Provincial People's Council had 188 opinions and recommendations from voters sent to the Provincial People's Committee for resolution. With a sense of responsibility to voters, the Provincial People's Committee directed departments, branches, sectors and localities to actively and proactively study, receive, resolve and fully respond to 100% of the recommendations and requested contents.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directly responded and clarified a number of reflections and recommendations from voters in localities revolving around difficulties and shortcomings in practice. For example, with the reflection of voters in Ky Son district that currently, there are some villages that have not installed a broadcasting system, so there are many difficulties in propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines to the people, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa said that on October 12, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3752/QD-UBND on approving the Project "Improving the efficiency of operations, gradually modernizing the grassroots radio system in Nghe An province, period 2021 - 2025". In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct departments and branches to effectively implement the above project.

The proposal of voters of Nam Dan district expressed the wish to have a mechanism to provide additional support for the construction of cultural houses in hamlets and blocks after the merger because the current support level is too low. Accordingly, due to the limited allocated budget capital, it is not possible to meet all local needs, so the province will implement in order of priority, first of all, villages, hamlets, and blocks that do not have cultural houses, then to villages, hamlets, blocks, and especially disadvantaged hamlets; villages, hamlets, blocks, and blocks in communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas and villages, hamlets, blocks, and blocks after the merger in region III, region II; villages, hamlets, blocks, and blocks in communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in region I and villages, hamlets, blocks, and blocks after the merger, villages, hamlets, blocks, and blocks that register, commit, and are on the roadmap to complete the task of meeting new rural standards, period 2021 - 2025...

ENSURING PROGRESS AND MEETING PEOPLE'S NEEDS FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION

Responding to voters' opinions requesting the Provincial People's Committee to recommend the Government to soon ensure the source of Covid-19 vaccines for mass vaccination for the people, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa said that recently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued decisions on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Nghe An province; Plan for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, period 2021-2022; Regulations on the operation of the Steering Committee for the vaccination campaign in Nghe An province. At the same time, it directed and guided localities to establish Steering Committees and develop plans to implement the vaccination campaign in the area.

Up to now, in the whole province, the number of people over 18 years old who have received at least 1 dose is 1,898,928 (accounting for 77.6% of people over 18 years old and 56.2% of the total population according to statistics). The number of people who have received 2 doses is: 1,388,201 people (accounting for 56.7% of people over 18 years old and 40.7% of the total population according to statistics).

The Provincial People's Committee also issued Plan No. 701/KH-UBND dated November 24, 2021 on the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 12-17 in Nghe An province in 2021-2022. To date, 95,767 children have been vaccinated (accounting for30.7%children aged 12-17).

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to propose to the Central Government to allocate the expected quantity of vaccines and will immediately allocate them to districts, cities and towns after receiving the Central Government's allocation decision, and at the same time direct the implementation of vaccination work quickly, safely, effectively and ensure progress to meet people's needs.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also clarified the request of voters of Cua Lo town wishing to soon implement Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP on policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa affirmed that, based on the directive documents of the central ministries, branches, and the Provincial People's Committee, the departments and branches have specified and implemented this content. To date, the total number of approved support beneficiaries: 41,423 beneficiaries, with a support budget of 61 billion 841 million VND.

The leader of the Provincial People's Committee added that the Provincial People's Committee will direct the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to advise on the implementation of Resolution 126/NQ-CP dated October 8, 2021 amending and supplementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP of the Government immediately after the Decision amending and supplementing Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister is issued.
