Nghe An continues to have heavy rain, coastal areas have gusts of wind level 8 - level 10

(Baonghean.vn) - The center of storm No. 10 is in Central Laos, but tonight Nghe An continues to have strong winds and heavy rain. Coastal districts of Nghe An and Ha Tinh also have strong winds of level 6 - level 7, gusting to level 8 - level 10.

According to the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of storm No. 10, from yesterday (September 14) to 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (September 15), in the North Central region, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall in the North, common areas: 50 - 80mm; in the South, common areas: 130 - 280mm, some places have more such as: Ha Tinh city 334mm; Hoanh Son 312mm and Huong Khe 303mm.

In Ha Tinh, there are strong storm winds of level 9 - level 11, gusts of level 12 - level 13, especially in Hoanh Son, the wind gusts of level 15 (48m/s); in Nghe An, there are strong winds of level 6 - level 7, gusts of level 8 - level 10, especially in Hon Ngu, the wind is level 9, gusts of level 11; in Thanh Hoa, the wind is level 4 - level 5, gusts of level 6 - level 7.

At 4:00 p.m. this afternoon,The center of storm No. 10 is located at about 17.9 degrees North latitude; 105.3 degrees East longitude, in the Central Laos area. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 8-9 (60-90km/hour),level 12.

Forecast for the next 6 hours,The storm moved west-northwest at 20-25km per hour and gradually weakened into a tropical depression..At 10:00 p.m. on September 15, the center of the tropical depression was located at about 18.2 degrees North latitude; 103.5 degrees East longitude, in the Central Laos region. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 7 (50-60 km/h).level 9.

Forecast for the next 6 to 12 hours,The storm continued to move in a West Northwest direction, traveling 20-25km per hour, weakening into a tropical depression, then a low pressure area over Upper Laos.

Strong Wind and High Wave Warning:In the North Central Coast, there are strong winds of level 8-9, gusting above level 9. The sea is very rough.Disaster risk level: level 3.

Strong Wind Warning on Land:Coastal districts of Nghe An and Ha Tinh also have strong winds of level 6 - level 7, gusting to level 8 - level 10.Disaster risk level: Level 3; Thanh Hoa has strong winds of level 5 - level 6, gusts above level 6.

Heavy Rain Warning:Tonight and tonight (September 15), in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh, there will still be rain, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places.

Especially in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Con Cuong (Nghe An); Huong Son, Vu Quang, Huong Khe (Ha Tinh).
