Nghe An continues to promote 'All people build a culture of safe traffic'
On the afternoon of June 12, in Hoang Mai town, the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organize a propaganda program "All people build a culture of safe traffic" in 2024.

Attending the program were comrades Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and representatives of relevant departments, agencies and branches.
On the side of Hoang Mai town, there were comrades: Le Truong Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee; Nguyen Huu An - Chairman of the Town People's Committee, along with 250 officials of mass organizations as well as union members and youth in the town.

With the attention and direction of the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, as well as the efforts of all levels and sectors in propagating, raising awareness and compliance with legal regulations among many classes of people, the traffic accident situation in the province has changed a lot. This is demonstrated by the reduction in all three criteria of the number of cases, the number of deaths and the number of injuries over many years.
However, in recent times, the situation of traffic safety and traffic accidents is still complicated, the awareness of traffic participants, especially young people, is still limited. Therefore, the Traffic Safety Committee has coordinated with departments, branches and sectors to carry out many propaganda contents to raise awareness for people, thereby contributing to building a culture of safe traffic participation for all people.

Speaking to call on all people to respond and participate in the movement, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee wished: All people, union members, officers and soldiers, agencies and units in the area need to focus on propagating and implementing the movement well; building typical examples of good people and good deeds, in order to create the habit of civilized and lawful behavior, thereby creating awareness of law compliance; resolutely fight and condemn violations.
Each agency, organization, unit, and residential area must consider traffic safety implementation as an important criterion in ranking the competition, as well as recognizing cultural residential areas and cultural units, associated with reviewing, criticizing, and reminding violators, etc.

At the program, comrade Phan Huy Chuong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, also emphasized that Hoang Mai town is located on the North-South traffic axis, the lifeline of the whole country, and at the same time has many types of traffic, so it requires all levels and sectors to resolutely implement solutions to ensure traffic order and safety in the area.
In addition, each citizen must voluntarily comply with the law when participating in traffic such as: wearing a standard helmet; not driving at excessive speed; driving in the correct lane; not using beer or alcohol while driving, etc.
All people work together to build a cultured society with order, discipline and safety in traffic with the spirit of protecting the health and lives of traffic participants.

Right at the propaganda program, the participants were also informed about the regulations onRoad Traffic Lawand some illegal acts that people often encounter. In addition, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also coordinates with functional agencies to organize instructions on safe traffic participation skills through driving on models for people.

On this occasion, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee also presented propaganda materials and helmets to exemplary individuals in ensuring traffic safety and order.
