Nghe An seeks solutions to stimulate tourism after Covid-19

The scientific workshop "Discussing solutions to promote domestic tourism and restore international tourism after Covid-19 in Nghe An province in 2020" co-organized by the General Department of Tourism, the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Group, the Private Economic Development Research Board (under the Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Advisory Council), the National Tourism Advisory Council and the People's Committee of Nghe An province will take place on May 31, in Vinh city.

The conference is expected to have about 500 delegates from the Central Government and several provinces and cities in the country; representatives of airlines; leaders of the Railway industry; corporations, tourism companies and domestic travel clubs; lecturers and experts in the tourism industry.

The workshop aims to implement the Program "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam" launched by the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism and the Plan to enhance the promotion and promotion of Nghe An tourism after Covid-19 in 2020 issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

The purpose of the Workshop is to exchange and discuss short-term and long-term solutions to promote domestic tourism and restore international tourism to Nghe An in order to develop Nghe An tourism sustainably in the post-Covid-19 period.

Thoroughly grasp and mobilize tourism service businesses to participate in the Program "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam" launched by the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism and the Nghe An Tourism Stimulus Program in 2020 with the theme "Nghe An - Safe and Different Destination".

Thereby, strengthening the connection of state management agencies on tourism, Tourism Association, tourism service businesses in Hanoi and the Northern provinces, the North Central provinces and organizations and individuals providing tourism services in the province to build attractive stimulus packages, quickly attracting tourists to Nghe An.

Strengthen communication and promotion of the expansion of tourist attractions in the province, especially new tourist attractions, attractive cultural, sports and tourism events; on ensuring safety and readiness to serve; tourism stimulus policies, etc.

Reports and presentations at the Workshop will focus on the following issues: Enhancing the responsibility of departments, branches and localities in cooperation and management of tourism development; Building unique tourism products that both promote the country's political events and attract tourists; Identifying key tourist markets; Safe and friendly tourism environment...

The workshop "Discussing solutions to promote domestic tourism and restore international tourism after Covid-19 in Nghe An province in 2020" will take place on the morning of May 31.

In the afternoon, delegates will survey and evaluate some typical, unique, and advantageous tourist destinations and services of Nghe An province.

Hopefully and believe that the Workshop will provide accurate comments and assessments and propose scientific and practical solutions to promote Nghe An tourism recovery and development in the post-Covid-19 period.
