Nghe An: The deformed body of a young man crushed to death by an excavator was found in a ditch.

(Baonghean.vn)- After more than 2 hours of mobilizing machines and people to lift the overturned excavator in the ditch, the victim's body was found.

At around 3:40 p.m. on May 26, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh (born in 1996, residing in Hamlet 2, Quynh Lam Commune, Quynh Luu District) drove his family's excavator to dredge the N13 irrigation canal in the commune. While driving the excavator through the culvert to Hamlet 5, the machine suddenly flipped over. Mr. Vinh jumped down to avoid the accident but was crushed to death by the excavator on the spot, his body stuck under the machine, deep in the ditch.

After receiving the information, the authorities mobilized a crane along with police and militia forces to Quynh Lam commune to assist in pulling the excavator up. After more than 2 hours of rescue efforts, the excavator was pulled up, and the victim's body was found in a deformed state.

That same evening, the victim's body was brought home by relatives for burial.
