On the international side, the program had the participation of comrade Khammeng Manivong - Deputy Governor of Xieng Khouang province, Laos, along with more than 150 guests representing FDI enterprises, ODA projects, NGOs, and foreign experts working in Nghe An province.

In 2015, Nghe An province welcomed many investors from Japan, Korea, China, India, Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands, etc. with 37 FDI projects, registered capital of more than 157 trillion VND. In addition, there were 31 ODA projects with capital of more than 12 trillion VND, investing in areas such as urban development, agriculture, health, education, drainage and wastewater treatment, etc. Foreign non-governmental organizations, organizations and individuals of Vietnamese people abroad sponsored the province for 29 programs and projects with a total capital of more than 28 trillion VND.
