Nghe An organizes new textbook conference
(Baonghean.vn) - The workshop is an opportunity for authors to share information about the book compilation process, the highlights of the book series as well as the experimental implementation of the new textbook series for grades 3, 7, and 10.
On the morning of March 4, the Department of Education and Training held an Introduction Workshop.Textbook, educational equipment for grades 3, 7, 10 according to the new General Education Program.
The workshop was organized online, connecting 21 districts, cities, towns and the bridge in Hanoi were the authors, editors-in-chief of the textbooks.

Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training had just signed a decision approving 43textbookGrade 3, 40 grade 7 textbooks and 44 grade 10 textbooks for localities to choose to use in schools from the next school year.
The number of approved textbooks from 4 publishers includes: Vietnam Education Publishing House; University of Education Publishing House; Ho Chi Minh City University of Education Publishing House, Vinh University Publishing House. Based on the newly approved list of textbooks, localities will select textbooks for use in schools.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy DirectorDepartment of Education and TrainingVo Van Mai said: The 2022-2023 school year is the third year that the entire education sector has implemented textbook replacement for grades 3, 7 and 10 and is also the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training has implemented the new 2018 General Education Program for high school level.
The implementation of new textbooks aims to achieve the goal of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, focusing on innovation in goals, content, methods and forms of teaching and examination organization according to the requirements of developing students' qualities and abilities.
In Nghe An, after 2 years of implementing the new textbook program for students in grades 1, 2, and 6, it has brought positive results. During the implementation process, Nghe An province has also focused on selecting textbooks suitable for each subject and region, while respecting the opinions of schools and teachers, ensuring systematicity, inheritance, and not causing disruption in teaching and learning.

With the goal of reaching out to learners, at this conference, the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training suggested that schools and teachers need to focus on grasping the entire spirit of the new textbooks. On that basis, continue to research and select textbooks in accordance with regulations, suitable for teaching and learning subjects, and effectively implement the textbook replacement program according to the 2018 General Education Program.
At the workshop, authors from the Vietnam Education Publishing House shared information about the book compilation process, the highlights of the book series as well as the experimental implementation of this textbook series. The authors also affirmed that they will accompany educational institutions and schools in training teachers as well as help teachers overcome any difficulties that may arise in the teaching and learning process.
