Nghe An: Young drug criminals using 'hot' weapons caught
(Baonghean.vn)- At only 20 years old, Hieu has a long history of illegal drug trafficking. Hieu lives in the village, always has a homemade gun, a knife and many tricks to avoid and resist the authorities.
After a period of time, combining the use of many professional measures, the police of Ky Son district, Nghe An discovered that the subject Moong Van Hieu (born in 1997), residing in Na Kho village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, had many suspicious signs.
Going deeper into the investigation and verifying the subject, the detectives found that: in just half of August 2017, Hieu and his accomplices openly sold drugs right in the center of Na Kho village to addicts in Bac Ly commune and neighboring communes. This blatant action of Hieu caused outrage among the local people.
Realizing that Moong Van Hieu's criminal activities needed to be quickly combated and eliminated, the location of the criminal activities were proactively brought to justice. Project coded 817A was established by Ky Son District Police.

On August 18, 2017, the detectives identified the subjects who had just crossed the border into Laos to get the "goods", and that the goods were being hidden at Moong Van Hieu's house.
Immediately, the Task Force held an urgent meeting, coordinated with the Border Guard force and Nghe An Customs Department to quickly deploy forces.
Being a cunning subject, moreover, Moong Van Hieu's house is located right in the middle of the village, surrounded by relatives, so it is very difficult to approach. In addition, at many other locations, there are always many subjects who are Hieu's "eyes and ears" performing the task of guarding, not allowing strangers to enter the village.
Therefore, the task force decided to divide into many working groups, effectively block, surround, and monitor the suspect's house area.
At 3:00 p.m. the same day, realizing the right time to solve the case, task forces from many sides quickly broke into the suspect's house and caught Moong Van Hieu red-handed in the act of illegally buying, selling, and storing drugs.
At the scene, the arrested subjects included: Moong Van Hieu, Va Giong Nhenh, (born in 1976), residing in Nhot Kho village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, seized 40 grams of heroin, 20 MTTH pills, 02 homemade guns and 02 sharp knives.

Talking about the dangers of fighting crime, the Investigator of Ky Son District Police said: “As soon as they broke in, the subjects used sharp knives and fiercely attacked the functional forces. However, with their bravery, spirit of attacking and suppressing crime and carefully preparing plans, as well as effective combat, the subjects were almost immediately controlled and arrested, ensuring the safety of the participating forces and the masses.”
At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to all their crimes. Accordingly, to commit the crimes, Moong Van Hieu and many other subjects often colluded with Lao subjects to transport drugs across the border to Vietnam for consumption. Not only that, Hieu also went to Laos with other subjects in Nhot Kho village to meet and buy goods from Lao subjects and then bring them back to the area for consumption.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
