Nghe An honors 12 outstanding collectives in the campaign "Pride of a strip of land and rivers"
(Baonghean.vn) - During the journey to the source at the red addresses of Dien Bien province, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union commended and rewarded 12 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers".
“Proud of a strip of land and rivers” is a campaign of the Central Youth Union that is widely deployed nationwide, at all levels of the Youth Union, Associations, and Pioneers at home and abroad. This is a practical activity to educate patriotism and pride in the territorial integrity of every Vietnamese citizen in general, and union members and young people in particular.
Responding to this movement, the Youth Union chapters of Nghe An province have actively implemented many creative models and methods, and Nghe An ranks at the top of the country.
From October 2023 to present, the whole province has had 10,458 maps hung and given away; 8,563 classrooms have hung maps; 1,165 grassroots youth unions and youth branches responded and 12,695 union members and youth participated in assembling maps...
In order to promptly recognize and commend units that actively responded to the above campaign, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union issued Decision No. 1828-QD/TĐTN-TG dated February 28, 2024 on rewarding 12 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "Pride of a strip of mountains and rivers".
During the journey back to the roots of Nghe An youth at the red addresses of Dien Bien province, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized to reward collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the above campaign.
On this occasion, to promptly encourage students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies in Dien Bien province, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Council of Nghe An province presented 10 gifts to 10 poor students who have excelled in their studies in Dien Bien province. Each gift includes school supplies and cash worth 500,000 VND.
At the same time, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented a solidarity house worth 50 million VND to a poor family in difficult circumstances in Dien Bien province.
