Nghe An: Over 200 cases of driver's license points deducted during 9 days of Tet holiday
According to data from the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police), during the 9-day Lunar New Year holiday (from January 25 to February 2, or from the 26th day of the Lunar New Year to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), traffic order and safety in the province were basically stable. There were no traffic jams or unusual incidents.
During the holiday, traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria compared to previous years. Traffic police deployed patrols and controls on key routes and areas, thereby detecting and handling 1,173 violations.

Specifically, 489 cases were fined, transferring nearly 1 billion VND to the State Budget. At the same time, 15 cars, 521 motorbikes, 10 other vehicles were temporarily detained, the right to use driving licenses and practice certificates for a period of time was revoked for 27 cases, and driving license points were deducted from 247 violators.
