Nghe An launches labor inspection campaign in construction sector

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of April 21, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs organized a training course on labor safety and hygiene law and launched a labor inspection campaign for management staff of districts and towns in the province.

At the training course, trainees were informed of new regulations on the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene, effective from July 1, 2016; and the implementation of the 2016 labor inspection campaign in the construction sector from now until the end of October 2016.

The inspection campaign focuses on checking and monitoring measures to handle technical incidents, declaring statistics and reporting investigations of technical incidents causing loss of occupational safety and health, work accidents and occupational diseases; responsibilities of employers towards employees suffering from work accidents and occupational diseases; insurance regimes for work accidents and occupational diseases; ensuring occupational safety and health for production and business establishments and State management of occupational safety and health.
