On October 11, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a Plan to deploy the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the Army and perform their duty to join the People's Public Security in 2024. The issuance of the plan aims to unify the content, time, and process of selecting and calling citizens to join the Army and perform their duty to join the People's Public Security in 2024 to ensure strictness, democracy, transparency, compliance with regulations, good quality, and 100% completion of the assigned targets.

The plan clearly states the contents and implementation time, specifically: The content of the preliminary military health screening is completed in November 2023. The 2024 provincial military transfer and assignment coordination conference is completed before December 22, 2023.
District-level military handover contract and specific date and time will be announced at the provincial-level military handover contract conference. Studying documents and finalizing the number of troops will be completed before January 20, 2024. Issuing the call for citizens to join the army will be completed before February 5, 2024. Organizing the military handover ceremony is expected to be from February 25, 2024 to February 28, 2024. Organizing the experience sharing of military recruitment work in 2024 at all levels will be completed in March 2024.
