Put safety first
To achieve the province's food production target in 2021 of 1,208,500 tons, this year's Summer-Autumn crop, Nghe An strives to achieve 433,450 tons of food. Accordingly, the whole province plans to plant 90,000 hectares of rice, 12,000 hectares of corn, of which 30,000 hectares of high-quality rice and about 11,500 hectares of hybrid rice.

Assign the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to advise the Provincial People's Committee to soon issue a Directive on enhancing production in the Summer-Autumn - Winter-Spring crop of 2021. Establish inspection teams to direct the implementation of the remaining tasks of the Spring crop, and best prepare conditions for production in the Summer-Autumn - Winter-Spring crop of 2021.
