Nghe An implements Tet Encouragement of Learning 2017
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 3, at Cua Lo High School, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education held the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Promoting lifelong learning in families, clans, and communities until 2020" and the 14th "Nghe An Promotion of Education Festival".
Representatives of the Department of Education and Training, the Town Party Committee, the People's Committee of Cua Lo town and leaders of the Education Promotion Association of many localities in the province attended.

The 14th “Nghe An Education Promotion Festival” started from the 15th of December in the year of Binh Than (2016) to the 15th of January in the year of Dinh Dau (2017). Thereby, it aims to create a new movement of education promotion, improve the comprehensive quality and depth of education promotion activities at all levels of the Association, especially at the grassroots level, actively contributing to building a learning society and promoting the lifelong learning movement.
“Tet Khoi Hoc” is also a good tradition that has been implemented for many years in Nghe An. Since then, tens of billions of VND have been mobilized each year to support and help poor students and studious students. At the same time, it creates motivation for each student, each family and clan in all regions of the province to strive to study to continue the tradition of studiousness of the province.

To effectively and practically implement emulation movements, at the launching ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning requested: localities need to organize registration and strive for 80% of families to achieve the title of learning families, 70% of clans and communities to achieve the title of learning clans and learning communities.
In addition, mobilize the establishment of a scholarship fund at all levels of the association and community, aiming to reach an average of 20,000 VND/person/year/province; award scholarships to excellent students with good training. Pay attention to students who have overcome difficulties to make progress in their studies, students in remote areas, economically disadvantaged areas, and excellent teachers who have strived to complete their tasks well in the 2016-2017 school year.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented 20 bicycles as gifts from former Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Promotion of Education Nguyen Manh Cam to poor students overcoming difficulties in Cua Lo Town. Vingroup Corporation presented 100 million VND to the Association for Promotion of Education in Cua Lo Town and donated money to the Associations for Promotion of Education in Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh and Anh Son Towns with a total amount of 200 million VND./.
