Nghe An implements Decree on quality control of civil servant input

(Baonghean.vn) - The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, provincial units, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to study and implement in accordance with the provisions of Decree 06/2023/ND-CP.

Pursuant to Decree No. 06/2023/ND-CP dated February 21, 2023 of the Government regulating the quality inspection of civil servant input, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh has the following instructions:

The Department of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with provincial departments, branches, sectors, units, and People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to study and properly implement the provisions of the above Decree; advise and propose tasks within the authority and responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, on February 21, 2023, the Government issued Decree No. 06/2023/ND-CP on regulations on quality assessment of civil servant input. The Decree has 3 chapters and 13 articles.

This Decree stipulates the principles, conditions, competence, content, form and implementation of input quality assessment for those participating in recruitment to work as civil servants in agencies of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and state agencies at the central, provincial and district levels.

The quality assessment of civil servant input as prescribed in this Decree applies to those who register for recruitment into civil service through examination.

Civil servant input quality assessment is an activity to evaluate and recognize the necessary basic knowledge of candidates before participating in civil servant recruitment at competent agencies.

- The principles for implementing input quality inspection of civil servants are as follows:

a) Ensure publicity, transparency, objectivity and legality.

b) Ensure practicality, efficiency and savings.

c) Inspection results are used consistently nationwide.

d) There is no limit to the number of times each candidate can register for the assessment.

d) Strengthening the application of information technology.

This Decree comes into force from April 10, 2023.
