Nghe An: Five fires occurred in September.
(Baonghean.vn) - In September, our province experienced 5 fires, resulting in 3 deaths, 1 injury, severe damage to 3 small fishing boats, 2 oil tankers catching fire, and 7 other fire incidents.
Nghe An is considered a key economic region in the North Central region, with 10,000 establishments under fire safety management, including more than 2,000 establishments with a high risk of fire and explosion. From 2009 to the present, Nghe An province has experienced more than 5,000 fire and explosion incidents, resulting in many deaths and injuries and tens of billions of dong in damages. The fire and explosion situation remains a high-risk area. In September alone, there were 5 fire and explosion incidents.
Specifically, at 6:19 PM on September 1st, a fire broke out in the electrical meter box of Apartment Building B3 in Quang Trung Ward (Vinh City), damaging all 30 electricity meters and the entire electrical wiring system of the building. Also on that day, a house fire occurred in Block 10, Truong Thi Ward (Vinh City), causing damage to some household items.

Subsequently, at 8:25 PM on September 5th, a fire broke out in a warehouse containing general merchandise (textiles, plastics, and other flammable materials) belonging to several small traders in the Vinh Market area (No. 1, Le Huan Street, Cong Hoa Block, Vinh Tan Ward). The fire destroyed all the goods in one warehouse section (approximately 70 m²).2The estimated damage is 70 million VND.
On September 13th, a fire broke out at the oil depot of Tan Xuan Co., Ltd. (Block 3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town). The large fire resulted in devastating consequences, killing three people (Nguyen Van Hai, born in 1998; Phan Van Muoi, born in 1999; and Dau Dinh Vo, born in 1995, all residing in Block 3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town), injuring one person (Nguyen Van Quan, born in 1998, residing in Block 3, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Province); and severely damaging three small fishing boats.2An oil tanker caught fire. On September 13th, approximately 1 hectare of pine forest belonging to Mr. Nguyen Duc Ly (Hamlet 1, Quynh Loc Commune, Hoang Mai Town) was damaged by a fire caused by local people going up the mountain to light a fire to catch bees.
Previously, on August 30th, a fire broke out at the production workshop of BSE Electronics Co., Ltd., in Zone C, Nam Cam Industrial Park (Nghi Loc district), burning 60 square meters.2The factory where various types of adhesives for electronic components were mixed (including machinery, equipment and electronic components, adhesive mixing equipment and other production equipment) was completely destroyed by fire.
In addition, there were 7 minor fire incidents causing insignificant damage (5 fires involving electrical wiring, 1 fire due to a gas leak, and 1 fire in a grocery warehouse, all of which were extinguished by the on-site fire fighting force).
